Weekly Menu March 10, 2015

weeklymenu 310

Practice what you preach.  Really easy, right?  Not always!  As a private practice dietitian, I am always encouraging my patients to plan a weekly menu and grocery shopping list to stay organized and on track with health goals.  You can’t eat healthfully if you don’t have good ingredients on hand and a realistic plan for what you are going to make.  However, with my busy life, I find myself flying by the seat of my pants a lot of times.  I always end up preparing something pretty yummy and healthy, but find myself running to the store more times that I really need to.  In my attempt to practice what I preach, I made a weekly menu and bought all the ingredients yesterday.  It feels so good to have a plan and for the week, including yummy leftovers for my lunches. Here are links to all the recipes…feel free to join me any night this week, if you like.
